Introductions

 Hello everyone, my name is Craig Beshears and I am an Editing, Writing, and Media major. I am a twenty-two year old Mexican-American who is very proud of his heritage. I was born in El Paso, TX and raised in Jacksonville, FL (DUUUUUUVAL). I am a part of the Multicultural Greek Council on campus and hope to continue to spread awareness at our university. A fun fact about me is that I have an FSU-themed truck that I named Flowers after Doby Lee Flowers and I also have a bunny as a pet named Julio Enrique Bautista. My goal out of college is to become a high school English teacher and my dream is to write my own fantasy book series. 

 In a previous class of mine I was shown numerous different technologies that are used in classrooms. This included the smart boards that varied from having a touch pad to being entirely touchscreen, then there was a 3D printer to foster creativity while encouraging a stem field, and even VR headsets that catered to the students’ love for video games. Other than that, I have used different Microsoft office applications my whole life. All the way back to middle school, my school ensured we would have a strong technological background. 

 For class I enjoy using my iPad and Apple Pencil. My favorite app to take notes on is Goodnotes. It may be a paid app but it is well worth the money since it works really well with the Apple Pencil and even provides layouts for planners, graphs, etc. Another benefit of this is that all of my handwritten notes can be automatically saved to my cloud.  I also have a PC that I use for gaming but I keep as a backup with all of my folders.
